Dungeon Master Academy is a three-day workshop for kids and teens that teaches you how to be a game master for Dungeons and Dragons (and similar games).
You’ll learn:
- a simple framework for running the game
- how to become a better improviser and roleplayer
- ways to persuade your friends to join your campaign

Navigate through the treacherous three layers of the Underworld, battling mythical creatures. FerryCon 2026

FerryCon is the library’s annual Comic Con-style flagship event for all ages that takes place one Saturday every fall (formerly spring). Since 2019, FerryCon has brought over 300 participants to the library for fun-filled events including artists alley, classes, panels, and contests that revolved around comic books, graphic novels, super heroes, and more!
This event is free but will include a suggested donation of $10 per family at the door. We’re fundraising for the library this year!

Enter our raffle to win the kids, teen, and/or adult gift basket containing prizes like a signed Marvel comics, superhero merch, and more! Proceeds go to the Friends of the Dobbs Ferry Library. $3 for 1 ticket or $5 for 2 tickets. Feel free to buy these ahead of time in the week leading up to the event, too.
